• A moment for my son

He may be three, but he has a wisdom unbeknown to himself. A delicate flight of fancy, followed by whim after whim. A shrewd word or two lets us think where has he been? An old man in young shoes, hes seen things before. A lad with endless love, a parents reason to breathe.

Dads home, the door wakes. A trundling skip down the hall. An innocent smile. The warmest embrace, the best life has to give. The day doesnt repent but that doesnt belong in my world when im at home with my angel, with my boy.

Your words completely capture a young boy in his comments of wonder and the mother’s love of that precious curiosity. Great post.
